Please be praying for the Guatemala Mission Team. We will be leaving VERY early in the morning next Thursday, July 28th to catch an 8am flight out of Myrtle Beach. We will arrive in Guatemala City around 12:30pm, Guatemala time. They are two hours earlier... I think.
Please pray for safe travel. Pray for the people that we will be working with - that God would prepare their hearts and ours for all that he will be doing in us, through us and among us while we are there.
If you are a Google Earth fan, you can check out Chimaltenango, Guatemala. Chimaltenango is both a city and a state. The mission house is in the city of Chimaltenango. Almost all of our builds have been in the state of Chimaltenango. Sometimes that can be ten minutes away, sometimes it is an hour and a half away... straight up the mountain.
The team met for a preliminary meeting last week. We are all very excited and humbled by the opportunity to go and to serve.
