El Tejar

What an absolutely gorgeous day!  Blue skies, bright sunshine.  It was beautiful.  The views of the volcanoes were terrific.  One greeted us with several puffs of smoke this morning.

We headed out at 8am this morning to the village of El Tejar, which is just down the mountain from the mission house.  Quite a difference from the 1 1/2 hour drive to Santa Appollonia last year!  We would have left at 7:45, but Teresa didn't set her alarm clock.  Since it was her birthday, we only picked on her a little bit during the day.

We worked on three houses today.  Stopped at 4pm to distribute food to 75 families in the village of El Tejar
