Day Four.... Today the 'FBC Angels' (Beth, Christy, and Kim) were tasked with putting the windows, doors, and front siding on the 2 houses that already had concrete while the guys were tasked with laying the concrete for the other 3 of the houses. Enough about the work we had to do today, now let me tell you about our visit today with our friends (that we made on Monday and Tuesday). When we arrived at the first site, one of the little girls we met on Monday came running up to Christy and leaped into her arms. It was absolutely amazing. Later Beth played music on her phone and began dancing with a couple of the little girls. They had a blast. We also got to see our little friend Jefferson and his older brother Steven. Steven is confined to a wheelchair but has the most amazing spirit and a smile that  lights up a room. Christy also pulled out the fingernail polish and had a spa time with a couple of the little girls and one of the moms. After completing the house and spending time with our wonderful new friends, the 'FBC Angels' and Don then moved on to the next house that needed the fronts put on while the guys finished the concrete work on the 2nd house. Once the girls and Don were done, we met back up with the guys. The traffic to the 3rd house that needed concrete was backed up due to road work so we decided to head back to the mission house, grab Kelsey and Leisha, and head out to the (farmers) market for a little while. After returning from the market, the guys went to the 3rd house to lay concrete while the girls just hung back and the house. After the guys returned to the house, we all got ready, ate dinner, then headed to Thursday night church service at Pastor Max's church. It was a wonderful service. There was great music by the church musicians then we were given the opportunity to sing a couple of songs. We sang "Always" and "Jesus Loves Me." To include the congregation, we sang the chorus of "Jesus Loves Me" in Spanish. It was great. We were able to get the congregation involved in our song. After the singing Brother Edgar gave an awesome sermon. He spoke in English and Spanish.  You could truly feel the presence of the Lord in the building. At the end the whole church blessed us and wished us well. This is my first mission trip to Guatemala and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to come and spread God's love. This will not be my last trip. I am already looking forward to next year. GOD is good!!
